Music downloads. Its so easy to get your favourite songs into your laptop for free. So many do it. Many do it out of spite for the atrociously high prices of CD’s.
To crack down on these free downloads, online music stores elbow eachother to lower their prices, succeed in getting exclusivity contracts with international artists, and offer the best, speediest, most hassle-free experience for us, the buyer.
The never-ending bickering is to our benefit. Prices are lowering and the free sites offer us an ever-more hassle-free way to get our music.
Meantime, there’s still the free way to do it, though increasingly dangerous to do so. And when its legally free, then the hassle is the ads you’re ‘forced’ to goggle at while your music is being served to your computer.
You want to download music? Study the offers out there before you start.
Ares is making it to the ‘most popular P2P filesharing’ arena. It offers the user a gateway to an anonymous network of filesharers that bypasses a central server. This makes it difficult for the recording industry to touch, and gets you to your music.
