Fifteen years ago he died of AIDS.” Mollie also recalled her devoted husband and loving parents.

On Sunday i went to the beach. The day was stunningly hot. The water was soothingly lukewarm. Everyone there was in a zen state of mind probably thinking the same thing i was - this is probably the last day at the beach this year.

Today it is actually colder. Autumn is here.

And so, its time to hit the gym. From January to May I am at the Gym 4 days a week preparing for the Summer. Then, from June to September I do nothing but expose my sculpted self at the beach. By October my tummy has adopted 2-3 new creases that hang over my Levi’s. So, from this month on until November I go sweat it out at the gym again, in preparation for the Christmas holidays.

To motivate myself, each season I choose a new sport. 2 years ago, I took up Pilates. Loved it for the first 3 months. Last year, I did Samba classes. Loved that too. This year i think I will take up cheerleading classes. I already got my uniform.
I’ll report back on how long that keeps me motivated.
